1) Nizampura Police Stn. C.R. No- I 54/05, U/S 302,392,352 I.P.C.
On 09/04/05, between 13.45 to 14.40 hrs., an unknown accused entered into
the house of Smt. Bhavana Mahesh Ramvani Age-33, R/O Om Bldg, II floor R.N.8
Bhiwandi. An accused killed her and robbed the gold ornaments . The
incidence had taken place in front of her 4 yrs. daughter Priyanka. The
sketches were prepared on the basis of description given by Priyanka helped
ACP Ghag of Bhiwandi (West) Div., P.I. Chavan and staff of Nizampura P.Stn.
to trace out the real culprit. Subsequently accused Irfan Allauddin Ansari
was arrested on 11/04/2005 and the entire stolen property was recovered from
him in its original form. Accordingly the charge-sheet has been submitted in
the concerned court on 5/5/2005 against the arrested accused.

Ulhasnager P.Stn. C.R.No. 100/05,
U/S 302,34 I.P.C.
On 6/5/05, at about 12.25 hrs., some unknown accused killed
Chandrabhan Ramlakhan Yadav , leader of Century Rayon Workers Union at his
residence by stabbing him with chopper . In this regard, an offence of
murder was registered on 6/5/2005 at Ulhasnager P.Stn. against unknown
accused. As the deceased was union leader, there was a tense situation
amongst the worker and there was demand for immediate arrest of accused. The
officers and staff of Anti-Extortion cell, Thane on information arrested two
accused 1) Ram Maruti Madhavi, Age-33, R/o Shahad, Ulhasnager-1 and 2) Mojes
Balu Nirmal, Age-37, R/o as above within a span of 4 hrs.
During the course of investigation it is revealed that, the deceased used
the both accused for assault & other illegal works, but didn't make any
efforts to re-instate the accused No.2 who had been suspended by Century
Rayon company and also did not give monitory help to the accused No.1
involved in a case of its final hearing. Due to these reasons both accused
hatched the conspiracy together and killed the deceased. Accordingly the
charge-sheet in this case has been submitted in the concerned court on
12/7/2005 against the arrested accused.
3) Vishnunager P.Stn. C.R.No. I 44/05, U/S 302,120(b),34 I.P.C. r/w
25(1) (c) of Arm Act
On 13/04/05, at about 9 p.m., the Deputy Engineer of Kalyan Dombivali
Muncipal Corporation & builder Jayant Gajanan. Mhatre, Age-41 yrs., R/o
Draupadi Niwas, Dombivali was killed by some unknown assailants by firing
through firearm near his residence. Initially, it was alleged that, the
deceased was killed by notorious extortionist Ravi Pujari gang for ransom.
Therefore an offence of murder against Ravi Pujari and his gang was
registered. This event of murder created terror and fear amongst builder
lobby.
During the course of investigation, it is revealed that, the
complainant, (the cousin brother of deceased) Janardhan @ Balu Mukund Mhatre
hired the shooters and killed the deceased over property dispute. Total 5
accused along with the complainant are arrested in this case. Accordingly
the charge-sheet has been submitted in the concerned court against the
arrested accused.

M.F.C. P.Stn. C.R.No. I 207/05,
U/S 302,34, I.P.C. r/w 3,25,27, of Arms Act.
On 10/05/05, at about 23.45 hrs, some unknown accused killed hotel
businessman Rakesh Ramanna Shetty, Age 40, R/o Near New Lude School Kalyan,
by firing bullets through firearm. P.I. Ravindra Angre of Anti Extortion
Cell & his staff received information that, there was dispute between the
accused & Haresh Jawaharlal Vajarani age- 50 R/o-Ulhasnagar, the owner of
Dhru Bar & Restaurant over said hotel. The police took Naresh Vajarani in
possession & thoroughly interrogated him. During the course of
interrogation, accused Naresh Vajarani confessed that he has conspired &
killed the deceased by giving contract to the accused Fazlu Rehman.
Accordingly the charge-sheet has been submitted in the concerned court on
6/8/05 against the arrested accused.
5) Kapurbawadi P.Stn C.R.No. 253/05 u/s 302,34 R/w 25(1) Arms Act
On 21/8/2005, at about 08.15 hrs. one Mr. Jasbir Satsingh Kohli @ Tari
while purchasing newspaper at the Dongripada Junction stall, two
unidentified person came on their motor bike. One of them fired at him from
his pistol and the other person stabbed him with knife and ran away. The
injured Kohli succumbed to the injuries. In this regard, an offence of
murder against unknown accused was registered at Kapurbawadi P.Stn. This was
sensational and challenging case as the incidence sent spine chilling and
shocking waves in the vicinity. There was lot of pressure on Police to solve
this case as the murder tool place due to gang rivalry.
Acting
on tip-off, the officer and men of Property cell laid a trap and arrested
the accused 1) Pramod Raghunath Shinde age 35 yrs 2 ) Rahul Shantaram
Lokhande age 23 yrs. 3) Kishor @ Bala Dattaram Marwade age 31 yrs. 4) Naresh
Laxman Bhoir age 49 yrs. On being questioned, the all accused confessed to
have hatched the conspiracy and committed the murder. The pistol, knife,
helmet and jackets were seized from the accused No. 1 & 2 under the
panchnama. The case was charge-sheeted on 14/11/2005 & the same is pending
for trial before the concerned court.
