6)  Kolshewadi P.stn. C.R. No. I 145/05, u/s 397,302 of I.P.C.

                   On 4/7/05,  in between 10.45 to 12.30 hr., some unknown accused entered into the house of the complainant Smt. Biba Bhagwan Walde, age 41 yrs. R/o. Sukhasagar Apt. A/2, Kalyan (E) & killed her husband who was alone in the house.  The accused also looted cash and gold ornament worth of Rs. 37,300/-.   It was a challenging job for the police to detect the real culprit and the reason of the offence.  But P.I. crime, Shri B.J. Patil, made sincere efforts & arrested accused Anand Augustin Thobal, age 25, & Raju Janu Kamble, age 23, within a span of 24 hrs. and revealed that, the deceased was murdered, as he refused for the marriage of his daughter with accused Anand Thobal.        

7) Ambarnath P.stn. C.R. No. I 365/05, u/s 302,201,34 of I.P.C.

                   On 4/11/2005, at about 20.15 hrs., a dead body of unknown lady was found hidden in the bushes at Barku Pada, Ambarnath (E). From the scene of occurrence,  it was clear that, she was killed by making injury on neck with sharp weapon. In this regard, an offence of murder against unknown accused was registered.  Sr.P.I. Shri J.K. Shewale of Ambarnath P.stn and his staff,  on a reliable information established the identity of deceased & arrested the  accused Bablu Ajij-ali Naskar, age 40. During investigation it was found  that, the accused killed his wife with the help of wanted accused  Zintu Azad-ali Shaikh, age 22, over a doubt of illicit relation.

8) Vartaknagar P. Stn. C.R. No. I 125/2005 U/s 395, 397, 376, 506 IPC

          Complainant Riya Potadar and her cousin Shilpa Mandal who are Bar dancers at Bhavana Bar, Sion ,returned their home on 8/7/2005 in the wee hours, when five accused followed them and barged into their flat. The accused Shankar Gangaram Shinde age 28 yrs. and Piraji Chimaji Phulkar age 22 yrs. threatened them and raped both the girls alternatively at the point of knife and parted with jewellery worth Rs. 92,800/-. In this regard, an offence of dacoity with rape was registered at Vartaknagar P.Stn.   This was sensational and challenging case as the incidence sent spine chilling and shocking waves in the vicinity. The questions regarding the effective policing were being raised in the local newspapers.  A.C.P. Hotkar took initiative and launched massive man hunt. Teams were sent to various parts of Maharashtra which enable the arrest of two above mentioned accused on 6/9/2005. On being questioned they admitted to have committed the crime and 9 gram Golden chain worth Rs.5000/- was recovered from them. They also revealed the name of other three accused 1) Rajesh Lalu Dhotre age 20 yrs 2) Rathod (Full name & address not known) 3) Ramesh Motilal Suryawanshi age 21 yrs. but they are still at large. Efforts are on to trace and arrest them.

9) Mumbra P.stn I 208/05 u/s 395,397,342,336,354 of I.P.C.

                   On 3/7/2005, at about 02.00 hrs. 8 dacoits enter into the house of complainant  Shri D’souza, age 55, and beaten the complainant, his wife and servant with iron bar and stone.  The accused robbed gold ornament worth of Rs. 55,000/- & detained them in the house.  Sr. P.I. Shri Pardeshi & his staff on a reliable information arrested the 4 accused & property worth of Rs. 15,000/- was recovered at their instance. Accordingly the charge sheet has been submitted in the concerned court against all the accused.       

10) Narpoli  P.Stn. C.R.No. I 49/05,  U/S  363,364(A),394, I.P.C.

                   On 6/12/04, a 7 year old Sachin, S/o Umesh Chandra    Ramkher Maurya, R/o Bhiwandi was missing. Initially a missing was registered in this regard. On 11/01/05 the complainant received threat calls from Bihar by unknown accused  & demanded Rs. 2 Laks for release of  Sachin . Therefore an offence of kidnapping for ransom against unknown accused was registered. P.I. Rane of Narpoli P.Stn kept complainant's phone under observation through which it come to notice that, the threat calls were made from a S.T.D booth of Champaranya Bihar. On 2/3/05 PSI  Kadlag and staff of Narpoli P.Stn laid a trap with the help of local police,  near said S.T.D. booth & arrested the accused Sanjay Ramchandra Yadav & Shailendarakumar Shankarprasad Chourasiya & also released master Sachin from their clutches after 2 months. Accordingly the charge-sheet has been submitted in the concerned court on 2/6/05 against the arrested accused.
